The EscaRosa Coalition on the Homeless are always in need of various care package items to aid our outreach to the homeless. The Coalition accepts donations of hygiene products, bottled water, toilet paper, wet wipes, bug spray, sun screen, chapstick, flashlights, tooth brushes, combs, socks, band aids, note books, pens, coloring books, crayons, small toys, duct tape, plastic baggies, foil, tissues, small gift cards or snacks such as peanuts, raisins, tuna, Vienna sausage, fruit cups, pop tarts, lunchables, peanut butter, crackers, protein bars, mints, gum. Along with blankets, coats, and gloves during the winter.
Many businesses and churches conduct diaper and underwear drives to support our annual Undie-Sundie Drive during the National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Occasionally we receive furnishings and equipment in good condition, either for the office or for helping a family moving from a shelter into a permanent home.

Individuals can host fundraisers, too. Neighbors have held block yard sales, or hosted parties to generate interest and support for the work of the EscaRosa Coalition On the Homeless. A Better Way to Give
The Pensacola Chamber Foundation’s Leadership Pensacola (LeaP) Class of 2016 announces A Better Way to Give, a class project where uniquely painted parking meters will be placed at intersections throughout town. Our mission, to dramatically improve the lives of the homeless in Pensacola. The better we can educate the public about the faces of homelessness and coordination of resources, the more successful our community will be at offering individuals, children, and families the help they need for real change. The EscaRosa Coalition for the Homeless has been selected as the Better Way to Give fiscal agent and management organization after project handoff in May. The ECOH is a collection of agencies and individuals working together to prevent and eliminate homelessness in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. They operate a comprehensive array of shelters and supportive services to address the varying needs of persons who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
EscaRosa Coalition for the Homeless, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for- profit organization registered with the Internal Revenue Service/Department of the Treasury, tax identification number 59-2909065. . Therefore, all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
